Hilary Doyle 

Bio 2026


Hilary Doyle is a painter, teacher, and curator from Worcester, MA. Solo show locations include: Worcester Art Museum, Probably a Goddess at Dinner Gallery in NYC and On The Way to the Garden at Taymour Grahne in London. She has exhibited in group shows over the last decade, including Mindy Solomon, Hesse Flatow, and Monya Rowe Gallery. Doyle had a two-person show at Galerie LJ in Paris at the start of 2024. Doyle has received press coverage in Art Scope Magazine, Two Coats of Paint, Hyperallergic, Bushwick Daily, and New American Paintings Blog. 


Doyle teaches at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Past long-term positions include Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University, and Purchase College. She co-founded and sometimes teaches for NYC Crit Club. She was recently the gallery co-director at Transmitter Gallery and curates shows independently. 


Doyle received an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Currently, she lives and works in Worcester, MA.
